Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Relief Chiropractic, we value your time and are honored that you have chosen Dr. Mead and our Clinical Team for your care.
We have recently experienced a rise in appointment requests, along with an increase in last-minute cancellations and missed appointments.
To better serve all patients and maintain timely access to care, we have implemented the following cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Courtesy Appointment Reminders
As a courtesy, we offer text message reminders both the evening before and the morning of your scheduled appointment.
If you wish to receive these reminders, please provide your current mobile number to our receptionist.
Chiropractic Services
Cancellation & No-Show Policy:
Cancelled before appointment time: No fee will be applied.
No-Call / No-Show: $55 fee will be applied.
New Patient Appointments:
First-time visit fee: $105
If the appointment is confirmed but not attended, the full $105 fee will be charged.
Important:
All No-Show fees must be paid prior to your next appointment (or brought with you at the time of your next scheduled session).
These fees are not covered by insurance.
Massage Services
Cancellation & No-Show Policy:
24+ hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule: No fee will be applied.
Same-day changes:
If rescheduled the same day for the same session length: No fee will be applied.
If unable to reschedule the same day (due to your availability or our booking capacity):
$55 fee for 90 minutes
$40 fee for 60 minutes
$25 fee for 30 minutes
No-Call / No-Show:
$145 fee for 90 minutes
$115 fee for 60 minutes
$65 fee for 30 minutes
Late Arrival Policy (Massage Services)
If you arrive late for a massage, we will honor the remaining time of your scheduled session.
The appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time, and the full service fee will apply.
Repeated Cancellations or No-Shows (Massage Services)
If you cancel within 24 hours or do not attend your massage appointment more than twice, prepayment will be required at the time of booking for all future appointments.
Any patient assessed a cancellation, rescheduling, or No-Show fee must pay the fee before their next scheduled appointment or bring the full payment to that session.
These fees are not covered by insurance and are the patient’s responsibility.
This policy helps us provide consistent, timely care for all of our patients.
