  • Dr. Russell Mead

Dr. Mead graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. Over the past 15 years, with more than 90,000 adjustments, he has refined his expertise in soft tissue manipulation and chiropractic techniques. Before becoming a chiropractor, he was an elementary school teacher, mainly teaching 3rd grade. Transitioning to chiropractic was a natural choice for him, stemming from a lifelong passion—it's been a life-changing journey since his teenage years. His inspiration has always been his family chiropractor, Dr. Jamal Fakoury—thank you, Dr. J!

In 2018, with a wish to truly grow Relief, Dr. Mead brought on board Giovanni Leonor as Director of Business Operations and Development, and as a result, moved from our 900 square foot facility to our state-of-the-art 4000 square foot facility on M139, St Joseph, here in Michigan. Dr. Mead and Mr. Leonor have a mission to educate others about healthy lifestyles, dealing emotionally and physically with our daily stress, and the growing healthcare crisis affecting our nation. They are dedicated to reaching anyone dealing with daily pain. Despite these gentlemen battling significant low back and neck arthritis themselves, they now live lives almost pain-free.

Dr. Mead is married to his wife, Elvie, and they have five wonderful children whom he loves dearly. In his free time, he and Elvie enjoy exploring the Midwest in "Odo," their $500 minivan conversion camper, spending time with friends, and strengthening his faith in Jesus.
